Kopakama is one of the oldest cooperatives in Rwanda and has been a contributor to the country’s “coffee renaissance.” Over the years, the Kopakama co-op has grown to 1024 members, 400 of them women. In 2011, the cooperative was one of the first in the country to start a women’s group.
